From fresh produce to homemade baking and artisan crafts, nothing says summer like an outdoor market. Throughout the BC Rockies, there are plenty of summer markets to get your fix, and to support local along the way. Here are some of our favourites.

Golden Farmers Market

Wednesdays from mid-June to September, the Golden Farmers Market takes over Spirit Square in downtown Golden from 10 am to 3 pm. This outdoor market features fresh local produce, prepared foods, artisans, and food trucks. It's the perfect way to spend a summer afternoon. Follow your shopping experience with a stroll along the river or visit one of the many restaurants in town to satisfy any craving.

Market on Main

The charming village of Radium Hot Springs hosts a summer market on the lawn of the Visitor Centre on Friday afternoons from June 23 to September 1. The market runs from 4 to 7 pm, making it the perfect stop after a day of mountain adventure. Find artisans, crafters, farmers, bakers, and chefs from Radium and the Columbia Valley selling homemade and homegrown products such as baked goods, jams, jellies, pickles, knitwear, honey, candles, and more.

Cranbrook Farmers Market

Visit the Cranbrook Farmers Market beside Rotary Park on select Saturdays from May to June 10, June 27 through October 7, and a special market on October 28. The market is open from 10 am to 1 pm. The market features only locally made, baked, raised, or grown products and every purchase directly supports a local producer.
