The Art in Nature Trail is produced by Banff & Lake Louise Tourism, Carter-Ryan Productions, and the Town of Banff, with Creative Director Bridget Ryan. It features local and regional artists including Jason Carter, Janice Tanton, Peig Abbott, Cheyenne Bearspaw, and many more.

Forest Nymph and Sprite by Cedar Mueller

Start behind the Banff Park Museum and follow the signs. Everything is clearly laid out, so you can see the exhibits as you wander down the trail. The display meanders along the Bow River, crosses the Banff Pedestrian Bridge and continues towards the Bow Falls staircase. Turn back here and wander towards the Nancy Pauw Bridge before crossing it and looping back to your starting point.

In total, the trail is about 3 km on relatively flat ground. It's right in town so it's easy to access. Pets are welcome on leash, and the wide pathways are accessible for walkers, wheelchairs, and bikes.
