A Magical Stroll Through the Festival of Trees

A Magical Stroll Through the Festival of Trees on Where Rockies

The Grinch is stealing Christmas, or at least the tree from Canmore Tea Co!

Play on Where Rockies Onlin

Nothing says holiday spirit quite like a brightly decorated Christmas tree. The Rotary of Canmore’s annual Festival of Trees brings cheer to the community through a magical forest of Christmas trees that decorate the hallways of the Malcolm Hotel. Every year, local businesses, non-profits, and charities decorate these trees in a festive theme that reflects their story. It's a fantastic place to explore and get lost in the spirit of the holidays.

The enchanted forest begins as soon as you enter the main lobby of the hotel, starting with the hotel’s own massive, decorated conifer and a gingerbread display that is both delightful and inspiring. The trees continue through the hallways and back around to the lobby, all on the first level where it’s easily accessible and available for everyone to enjoy.

The joy in the trees is matched by the fantastic show of community spirit. It seems like everyone takes part, form local construction companies to real estate agents to charities and even restaurants. It’s a great way to get a glimpse into the world of the people who call this area home, while celebrating the magic of the season alongside locals.
