Set to open on November 20, 2025, Everwild promises a gentler mountain experience, one where physical and emotional relaxation and decompression take centre stage. “People tend to come to the mountains to do some sort of activity,” says Sky McLean, owner of Basecamp Resorts. “After something like that, it’s great to have somewhere to decompress, both physically and emotionally. We’re all running around with the demands of life and while hiking, biking, and other physical pursuits are great, we need the relaxing part of it too. Spas, saunas, and ritual thermal cycles bring us back to earth. They’re grounding. People come to the mountains because they want to relax and they don’t always want do something extreme.”

Guided by the four elements, earth, water, fire, and air, Everwild draws on local landscapes, seasonal rhythms, and ancient wisdom. Offers include grounding therapies and mineral treatments (earth), hydrotherapy and thermal circuits (water), sauna rituals and fire-inspired practices (fire), and breathwork, aromatherapy, and sensory treatments (air).

The facility itself is built to ensure comfort, privacy, and belonging for all guests, including 2SLGBTQ2IA+ individuals, people from a range of cultural and religious backgrounds, and those with varying body types or comfort levels. The spa features gender-neutral and private change rooms. Its programming is developed to be culturally respectful, allowing guests to engage in rituals in ways that align with their identity and beliefs.
