Kicking Horse Clubs
In Golden, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort offers ski lessons for everyone from never-seen-snow-before to learning how to tackle award-winning freeride terrain. They also host Avalanche Safety Training courses, which are excellent for those interested in winter backcountry recreation who haven’t been formally trained about avalanche hazards.
Snow School
If you want to spend more time on the hill with practically no wait times for the lifts, the Snow School at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort has a lesson package waiting for you. From their First Time Package that includes rentals and instruction to their private one-on-one instruction, the talented team at the Snow School can teach you everything you need to know in order to have a fantastic day on the hill.
Ski + Ride
There is so much to discover at Panorama Mountain Resort. From tots to pros, there’s a lesson program waiting for you. The Discovery Program is an excellent introduction to the hill, while the Women’s Freeride Retreat is the place to learn and refine alpine touring skills. The Ski with the Pros Workshops are hosted by some of Canada’s top coaches, so you can really up your game.
